Despite the label, it feels surprisingly soft and puffy. While it has a great loft, it lacks the resistance found in other firm pillows. Instead of supporting your neck, your head sinks right into the plush fill. It feels more like a "medium-soft" cloud than a firm cushion. It’s perfect if you love a moldable, airy feel, but it’s definitely not the sturdy support most side sleepers look for in a firm rating.

I love using it to prop myself up when reading in bed for comfortable back support, but as a side sleeper, it is a bit too thick for proper spine alignment.
