These 'Arkwright True Color' washcloths were even better than I thought they would be!! I chose these only because they were the perfect color of Forest Green. Quite frankly this is a difficult color to find because it's not 'Trendy' anymore. I'm old now, LOL, I don't believe forest green, navy blue, and burgundy red have trended since what, the 90s? But I don't care, I like what I like and these colors are very homey and look good with Craftsman/Mission, & Farmhouse style furnishings. In the future I will come back to look for Arkwright Bathtowels & Handtowels, in forest green and navy OR Levi's blue, to replace what is wearing out. The stitching is just as solid as the expensive washcloths, and they are a perfect thickness, not so thin as to fall apart, not so thick that you feel you are washing your face with a small towel, (don't you hate those thick washcloths, they never dry and in the summer they go sour ). Every time I've had towels and washcloths, they bleed their bright colors away; to avoid this problem, this time I boiled the washcloths with 3 cups of vinegar and a tablespoon of salt in 3 gallons of water. After 60 minutes of boil we let it sit for a couple hours; then we washed it the next day in a load of dark colors. We noticed no bleed. This obviously made for a colorfast washcloth, because it's what I do when I dye things with Rit. When I used one to wash my face, first thing I did was to run it under very hot water, there was ZERO COLOR BLEED !! But yeah, all in all these are great washcloths and I can recommend them to you .
