The coloration is only on the outside of the item, not in the glass and flakes of color came off when I removed the manufacturers label. Leaving clear glass spots.

Terrible. When I pulled the label off of the bottom, blue paint came off with it. I can see the surface of the counter top right through the soap dish. I bought it thinking it was solid blue glass. Very disappointing!

Its fairly nice but the blue is so dark it almost looks black.
