This comforter is gorgeous! I love the Marimekko print. It’s a true navy and white (not off-white), so it’s exactly as pictured. It’s a great thickness, so it lays smoothly without wrinkles.

A beautiful, thick comforter. It may be too thick for summer, but it's snuggly warm and cozy and it looks gorgeous in my bedroom.

What a disappointment. For this price point (nearly $200), I expected much better. The comforter has lots of loose threads and the manufacturer used blue thread in white areas, which just looks bad (see my pics for examples and note that the pics posted on the site do not show any of these flaws, even when you zoom in). The worst part is that the colors are not nearly as clean, crisp, and vibrant as they are in the photos. The "navy blue" looks more like faded black/gray and the white looks dingy and drab rather than bright white like it does in the posted pics. All 3 pieces look old and used even though they are clearly brand new and un-used (e.g., all tags intact, smells new, no signs of wear). Sadly, I based my purchase decision solely on all of the great reviews on this site. Perhaps Marimekko's quality has gotten worse recently?
