The towels are a nice safe green color. They are thin. If you are looking for a nice, thick towel these are not for you. I did wash them before I used them and they did wash up well. I have used and washed them several times and they do wash up well. The bath towels are oversized and we do appappreciate that very much. They can get a bit stringy but I just cut the strings off.

Once again Wayfair delivers on quality products at always affordable prices. These Martex Ultimate 6-piece towel set is the perfect replacement for my worn-out towels. However, I did not receive another towel I ordered. checked with customer service and said it was on the way but now I checked and it was canceled

This Martex 6 piece set was packaged nicely, but the plastic clips were extremely hard to remove and caused the towel loops to be snagged. The weight of these towels is not heavy, just medium weight. They are absorbent, but not extremely fluffy and super absorbent. The dobby decorative borders are flat. I don't like the 2 dobby borders on the face cloths. I would prefer only one dobby border on the face cloth instead of 2 borders because the borders take away from the terry cloth area. Wash these towels well before using to remove excess fibers, lint and manufacturing soils. They shed very much lint in the washer and dryer.

A very nice medium weight cotton towel set of two bath towels, two hand towels and two wash cloths. They are soft to the touch, with mid-weight fluff, great for everyday use. The grey color has a slight purple undertone, rather than being earth toned or neutral.

Received fairly quickly . they are ok - I was hoping for a much more absorbent thickness but these fall a bit short . And the color black is that of a faded black (in person, not sure if you can see in one of the photos - for some reason my photos are being removed from all of my reviews I constantly have to repost them .) .
