Ensemble de courtepointe Triangles

I am giving this quilt set 3 out of 5 stars. The reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is the smell and the way it came out after washing and drying. I’m not sure if the odor is associated with the stone wash or some other issue. But when I took it out of the package, I had a very strong smell. After the first wash and run through the dryer, it had a lot of small balled up pieces of cotton or fabric, stuck to the quilt. The horrible smells seem to get worse after a run through the washing machine. It is difficult to describe. It smelled like a chemical and a rotten egg. The second time I ran it through the washing machine, I had done some research and found that you can get rid of odors by adding a little bit of vinegar to your wash cycle. I ran it to the wash again and it’s still had a bad smell. The third time I ran into my wash cycle I added OxiClean and I let it mine dry overnight. The smell was not as bad after that process. When I ordered set, based on the price point of over 100, and also stating that it was made out of 100 cotton, I thought I would be getting a really high-quality product. I have been pretty disappointed with this quilt set because of the smell and because of these little balls that are all over the set once you’ve washed it. That shows me that it is not a high-quality set based on numerous other cotton quilts I have owned throughout the years. I will say that the pattern is perfect for my son‘s room. I really like the color and the softness of the fabric. I hope the manufacturer reads this review and does something to improve the smell of this product as well as whatever is causing the pilledballs of fabric.

Love this! I still haven’t put it on my son’s bed yet, since his room is being painted. But I have a green and navy plaid wallpaper and found this perfect shade of green for his quilt. It seems very soft. I can’t wait to see what it all looks like when it’s put together!

Beautiful, and much prettier in person. Very soft feel, the white is a soft white, and looks pricey. Well made and beautifully packaged. Only con is that it is not very large for a king size. I buy king bed linens for my queen beds as our mattresses are high. All king bedspreads I've bought fit very generously on our queen high mattresses, but not this one. It's just ok size-wise. Also, it is a bit stretchy which helps in pulling the sides down to make them a bit longer. One image shows length on one side of the bed and the other shows the other side covering the bottom bar.

Good enough! I got this for my daughter and it looked like a dusty blue, but it is really more like a DARK dusty grey vs. blue and quite dark. It is very light weight which is not a bad thing as we live in Florida, but it does also feel a little lower quality (not cheap) but not great quality. Not sure I'd recommend as there were too many surprises with the quality and the color.
