I love the design and craftmanship of the stitching. Yes, it is a coverlet and runs small but the color and design work for me. I too had issues with the odor from the stone washing process. There is a fix for that, but it takes effort. Cleaning tips on The Spruce offers adice for that. Will buy again f I need a white coverlet

I got the queen size in white. I ordered this because I liked the design and because it was advertised as cotton. This is not cotton. The materials that arrived with the quilt said the front and back were cotton but the interior was polyester. I don’t even think that is true. Nothing about this piece feels like cotton. Before I washed it, it felt almost silky. And it left a mess of white fluff in the dryer, but now does feel less silky. It almost like I washed a layer of some coating off of the quilt I put it on my bed for pictures but don’t feel comfortable using it.

UPDATE I did take off a couple stars after my review below. After opening the blanket and using it, it is quite thin. This will not keep you warm if it’s cold outside. It’s maybe for a summer blanket on the bed, but you will definitely need a comforter over it in all other seasons. Love this! I still haven’t put it on my son’s bed yet, since his room is being painted. But I have a green and navy plaid wallpaper and found this perfect shade of green for his quilt. It seems very soft. I can’t wait to see what it all looks like when it’s put together!

I am giving this quilt set 3 out of 5 stars. The reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is the smell and the way it came out after washing and drying. I’m not sure if the odor is associated with the stone wash or some other issue. But when I took it out of the package, I had a very strong smell. After the first wash and run through the dryer, it had a lot of small balled up pieces of cotton or fabric, stuck to the quilt. The horrible smells seem to get worse after a run through the washing machine. It is difficult to describe. It smelled like a chemical and a rotten egg. The second time I ran it through the washing machine, I had done some research and found that you can get rid of odors by adding a little bit of vinegar to your wash cycle. I ran it to the wash again and it’s still had a bad smell. The third time I ran into my wash cycle I added OxiClean and I let it mine dry overnight. The smell was not as bad after that process. When I ordered set, based on the price point of over 100, and also stating that it was made out of 100 cotton, I thought I would be getting a really high-quality product. I have been pretty disappointed with this quilt set because of the smell and because of these little balls that are all over the set once you’ve washed it. That shows me that it is not a high-quality set based on numerous other cotton quilts I have owned throughout the years. I will say that the pattern is perfect for my son‘s room. I really like the color and the softness of the fabric. I hope the manufacturer reads this review and does something to improve the smell of this product as well as whatever is causing the pilledballs of fabric.

Beautiful, and much prettier in person. Very soft feel, the white is a soft white, and looks pricey. Well made and beautifully packaged. Only con is that it is not very large for a king size. I buy king bed linens for my queen beds as our mattresses are high. All king bedspreads I've bought fit very generously on our queen high mattresses, but not this one. It's just ok size-wise. Also, it is a bit stretchy which helps in pulling the sides down to make them a bit longer. One image shows length on one side of the bed and the other shows the other side covering the bottom bar.
