The material seems good quality. Pillow cases are pretty thick and soft. However, the pillow seams don’t seem to be sewn well especially near the zipper which already ripped open after one general cycle wash. The smell was very strong so had to air out for a few weeks for the smell to fade to the level that’s tolerable.

I bought the pillow that is just wool with extra stuffing and I think that’s the way to go. Side sleeping is so much better and my shoulder pain I was having is gone. I’ve had this pillow now for months and I will say the filling isn’t as great (as to be expected). I’ve washed the pillow case but not the pillow yet. I’m hoping the stuffing fluffs a bit more or maybe I can pull it out and card it with my friend’s machine to fluff the fibers, as they seem to ball up. I do “fluff/shake” my pillow for now before I sleep and it’s working well enough. I suppose you could add more stuffing. If you are a back sleeper, I do not recommend the pillow I bought because it puts your head too forward. But I sleep on my side mostly and this works!

I have a lot of neck issues and this pillow has been wonderful. So supportive and kind to my neck. I absolutely love it!

Needs more filling. Too floppy and needs fluffing too often.
