I accidentally received two, so I gave one to my parents since they also needed a mattress cover. I find that it does a more effective job at cooling than the previous product, and it feels soft and durable. It is not waterproof, however, so keep that in mind if you have kids or health issues. I highly recommend this product for regular use.

I have an amazing mattress that is so deep that a lot of my old sheets and mattress covers don't work, but this one fully encased it! It's so soft, and not plasticky feeling like some can be. The top is quilted and I feel like it adds a bit more softness to my mattress, but it is thin. I've already washed and dried it, and it held up well! It was easy to put on, and I appreciate the ample material around the edges that is super stretchy. My mattress is black, which sounds cool in theory, but eh, not so much. And this helps hide it a little, and protect it. I love it

I can’t say whether it would help with absorbency if someone wet the bed.. it isn’t overly thick but not overly thin either. It is comfortable and doesn’t make a lot of noise and is on one of our spare beds. It’s comfy enough though and I really like how it seems to be fairly durable and simple packaging! Easy to wash and no issues! Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple mattress pad.
