[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the package, I was surprised to see how well it was protected. Then I picked it up, and I realized it's heavy! It feels almost like terracotta, but apparently, it's made from diatomaceous earth. It's supposed to help control odors and naturally deter bacteria growth. However, I'll still be using a bag liner inside to keep this clean. There's little bumpers on the bottom side to protect it and your floor from being slid around. Overall, I'm presently surprised with the quality of this waste basket.
