The waterproof mattress protector guards the mattress from newborns puke, poop, and milk that is constantly everywhere. Our kids had flu and everyone was basically dying, but the mattress was protected throughout and still looks new.

Bought a purple mattress absolutely love it, the sheets are amazing, the pillows are worth it as well but this protector is trash. It let water go right through and mind you I removed the covers right away when it happened. It wasn't more than a cup but it damaged my mattress. I called purple to report it and they would only cover the protector that doesn't protect; and mattress firm doesn't cover accidental damage. Lesson- don't buy from separate realtors. I'm stuck with a water damaged mattress that I only had for 5 months because I bought this protector.

I have wanted a Purple Mattress for a long time and finally bought one! Best decision I have made! I sleep better without tossing and turning all night. I absolutely LOVE it!! Now i wish I had done it years ago!!!

It works for what I needed. I needed thin, deep, and stretchy so I could feel my pillowtop beneath. All other waterproof pads stretched tight across the bed, and I couldn't even tell I had just purchased a pillowtop. BUT...it is not silent. I can hear the waterproofing when I move. Not a deal breaker, hence the 5 stars.
