I purchased these pillowcases to make the room feel more finished and to add some vertical presence behind the bed. Visually, they do help pull the space together, and the color is soft and neutral—very easy to style. I also like the button closure, which gives them a more tailored, intentional look.
That said, the quality is disappointing. There were a lot of snags right out of the package. These pillowcases showed noticeable quality issues upon arrival, including multiple snags, loose threads, and uneven weaving. While linen does have natural variation, the defects observed go beyond expected characteristics and suggest weak fabric construction. Due to these issues, I would not expect them to hold up well with regular use or washing. I understand this is linen, but the fabric feels especially delicate and unforgiving.
Because of the snags and overall feel, these are strictly decorative for me. I wouldn’t trust them to hold up well with regular use or repeated washing, and I don’t expect them to age gracefully.
Fit-wise, they do deserve credit: they fit perfectly on 26x26 down feather pillow inserts, and two pillows work well on a queen-size bed.
Pros:
Nice neutral color
Button closure detail
Good size and fit for 26x26 inserts
Helps visually “finish” the bed
Cons:
Numerous snags
Very delicate fabric
Requires ironing
Poor durability; decorative use only
Overall, they look nice from a distance, but up close the quality just isn’t there.
