The metal base of the holder is actually very solid, quality, with a shiny finish just like the product pictures. The wooden top is actually sealed to it, so Im sure you could pry it away from the base to get to the bottom and clean but it does not come on and off easily

I love the metal with the wood look. There was one side of the metal (shown in pictures posted) that triggered my ocd but I just won't face that out so it is visible.

Love this and goes great with my bathroom with rubbed bronze fixtures!

I purchased this bathroom accessory set by Etta Avenue for my son’s bathroom. I think it gives it a modern and rustic touch by having both the wood accent and black. I really like it!
