The saga of the shower curtain rod. My new house had no shower curtain rod. I had an old tension rod I put up but it wasn't very secure. I could only use a light shower curtain liner with it. I shopped around for a fixed rod that could hold a heavier curtain. I found this one. Trouble is, it was too long. My trusty handyman had to wait to find a blade that could cut a stainless steel rod to make it fit. Today we finally got it together! Preceding this Wayfair sent me what was essentially a towel bar (too short) which I returned. It ended well.

Very nice, solid easy install. Made one cut with cut off wheel. Be careful, may flare out the metal a smidge. I was able to round down the edges but would be safer with hacksaw blade
