Essential to support the associated L shaped rod which would be too solid to hang without this additional support.

Needed to customize another item i ordered from Wayfair and this did the trick

A little flimsy but suits our needs. You must buy the vertical brace as well

This is just a support part, not the shower rod itself, which is what I thought it was based on the description.
