This could definitely be a year round comforter due to its weight and thickness. Pictures show the quilted pattern as you can see it is not thick or overstuffed. Will work great with a duvet cover as a comforter or layered with additional bedding.

I really wanted to love this comforter! It’s boxy and puffy and looks great on the bed. But it’s soooo noisy, every time I or my partner move it krinkles and makes a crunchy sound. I’ve tried washing it twice and it still noisy…

I love this duvet insert! It feels luxurious and reminds me of a comfy hotel duvet. When it first arrived, it was vacuumed and sealed, so it was flat. The instructions say to let air out for a few hours or put it in the dryer for 15 minutes on the no-heat setting. Since I'm impatient, I opted to put it in the dryer. It fluffed up some, but it needed more time to fluff up. It's so comfortable and a nice weight for the in-between seasons. I don't feel overheating under it, but it keeps you warm. My spouse and I are enjoying it immensely, as are our dogs, who have taken to burying themselves under it. I highly recommend this insert!

Perfect way to travel with your down comforter. Came nicely packaged and now I can use it overseas with my new pillow. I’ve not really ever been disappointed with anything on Wayfair so this is going to absolutely perfect for traveling and we can leave for my grandma -)

 the all seasoned down comforter comes vacuum sealed it definitely needs to be shook out and fluffed up. It is lightweight and super warm. I have the queen size which measures 90” x 90” fits perfectly on a queen size bed. This down comforter can be used on its own or with a duvet cover.
