I think I must have been sent the wrong topper. After a couple of months, there are tiny, hard black (not white as described) feathers poking out from the topper. So, if there is a top layer to prevent feathers from poking out, it's not working. I do like the straps, as they keep the topper from sliding around. Just wish I didn't have to use a tweezer to remove the hard little feathers that poke me.

Purchased for my new twin sleeper. The mattress that came with it was not comfortable so decided to purchase this. Elastic corners allow me to attach the topper directly onto the existing mattress which folded in nicely into the sleeper sofa. My guest raved about how comfortable the sleeper sofa was thanks to this topper!!!

I travel frequently for work and wanted my bed at home to be as comfortable as the beds at 4 5 star hotels. This topper was the missing piece.

We purchased this for one of our guest bedrooms. It really did the trick! Our guests said it slept like a dream!
