I was a little skeptical buying what is essentially a particle board desk top but was pleasantly surprised. The finish is high quality and the mechanism itself is smooth, quiet and just what we wanted. I would totally buy it again. Having the option of a hard wood or "natural" finish top would have been nice but I am really happy with the product, regardless.
