Beautiful desk, but the smell of it is terrible. I'm glad I bought it in the springtime cause I could at least open the windows... The first week, I could not sit in front of it because of the smell. The desk is in my living room and when I was sitting on the couch, I was disgusted by the smell. I could not be in the living room for long. I thought it would not last, but I've had the desk for a month now, and I still can't sit in front of it to work on my computer if the window is not open in the room. I read some reviews that mentioned the smell, and I frankly thought that people were exaggerating!!!But I know now that they were not! It smells... toxic. I even feel bad for the workers in the factory who have to endure this smell everyday. The only positive points: it is a very cute desk, and easy to assemble. Still, I would NOT recommand it.
