I went with the gray sand option, I do think the desk looked better in the photos. Mine came with strange prints all over that cannot seem to go away and I do not want to use any type of chemicals that can damage the desk as it is not of very high quality but I was expecting that considering it's made of particle board and not solid wood. However, my biggest complaint is that the space between the desk and the hutch is too small/low - I cannot adjust the monitor height too much because of that, and the monitor I'm using is only a 27-inch.
