First the positive. 2 stars for function. The desk feels sturdy for daily use. The joints don’t wiggle. It also holds up to daily use for about the amount of time you’d have to return it. After that the scratches from the bottom of the laptop start to show. Traditional tricks like using walnut to hide the scratches don’t work. For someone who cares about aesthetics and longevity, this desk is not going to make you happy. For someone who just cares about function, I think it’s fine. It’s held up for almost a year so far as a board supported by 4 legs on which you can set a laptop or desktop computer. Buy only if you care about function - and at that point there might be cheaper options.

Bamboo is the probably the only wood you can get at this prince point that looks this beautiful and is solid wood. This desk has a darker stain and looks incredibly elegant. It does scratch easily though.

The set up process was extremely easy. Was happy with my purchase for the first few days rubbed up against the desk and now a piece of wood is coming off the side barely even touched it.
