This is a beautiful true mid century solid wood desk and it was fairly easy to assemble (with 2 people). The sections with the drawers arrived assembled so it was only necessary to attach the legs and middle sections before securing the top. Two bolts for the top attachment were missing, but the top is still quite secure. The overall finish is very nice, but the top has a few rough spots and the scoring around the edges of the top also has some minor areas missing the black trim paint. I love the storage options and the large working surface. The file drawer is set up for legal folders, but I was able to change the position of the file hanging bars to accommodate regular files. I was surprised to see the creative way cable management was designed. The middle section of the knee hole has a cabinet with charging and regular outlets that can be accessed through a grommet on the top. The size, features and style of this desk work perfectly for me!
