The Mid-Century Executive Desk with Tamour sliding Doors is an excellent addition to my newly renovated home office. It is sleek and professional and complements the bookcase I ordered from Way Fair earlier. I Highly recommend this piece!

I ordered the black 70” mid-century executive home office computer desk for my son who is moving into an apartment and needs a very large desk for when he works remote. The desk arrived in two separate heavy boxes (we needed two people to bring each box inside). The desk arrived very well packaged. Each piece was labeled with big letters and numbers. The adhesive from the labels were hard to remove and we ended up using rubbing alcohol to get the adhesive off each piece. We also had to take a wet cloth for each piece since they were dusty with a black powder. You will need a large area to layout the pieces and to assemble the desk. The assembly instructions were large, are only diagrams and easy to read. You will need a Phillips screwdriver for assembly. An Allen wrench does come with the desk for a few of the screws that you will need that wrench for. Be careful assembling each screw because one slip and you will easily damage the laminate. The desk is made out of particle board and laminate, so it can get damaged easily. There were two people doing the assembly and it took us four hours. The assembly instructions were easy except for a couple places where we figured out what to do by taking our time and double checking instructions before screwing pieces in. Just a note, where you use barrel nuts to connect the top table, make sure to screw in the connector screw to the barrel nut before connecting the two table top pieces. The instructions don’t do a good job explaining this process. If you don’t do this, you will have a big gap on your table top. The desk comes with outlets and usb chargers which is a plus. The drawers and cabinet slide easily. The only complaint is I don’t like the split of the table top right in the middle of the table where one would write. We will be buying a large desk pad to help eliminate that issue. My son absolutely loves this desk and gives it five stars. I give it four stars because of how the tabletop splits in the middle and how long it took to assemble. Overall, we recommend this desk.

I love this desk! It is a great size with plenty of workspace and storage without feeling overly bulky. The tambour doors are such a nice detail and make it look much more stylish than a typical office desk. The built-in power outlet is also really convenient. It looks great in my home office and feels both functional and high-end.

This is a beautiful desk, I love it. I was worried about the quality, but we hired a handyman to put it together and it looks just like the photos!
