This was a gift for my grandson. He already had a desktop, by wanted adjustable legs. He was very happy when he opened it.

Instead of shelling out 1000 dollars or more on an electric, standing desk I bought this base and a beautiful butcher block top and made my own. The metal base is very stable and fairly easy to assemble. The butcher block just screwed on. Very happy with this creation!

the kit, was complete, arrived early, assembly ok, had spare allen bolts and screws, the wire clamps worked well, and came with wheels. i installed am old white 30x60 “ kitchen table top ~ about 30 -40 lbs and the have another 100 lbs on top, desktop computer 40” steel monitor stand, and 32” lcd smart tv on a steel vesa stand. so enough weight. with the 2 motors lifts with no issues steady and no jerking or binding. at full height it is a bit shaky, but that can be expected for any lift table under 500. i’d like to see a aluminum instead of plastic control unit, the plastic plate is the weakest point of the system in that i installed so it sticks out to easily use but could also get broken if run into or pushed against a wall when moving. i may make a wooden mount to allow it to be moved under the table out of danger of being hit. the current tabe top may be temporarily thinking of doing a live edge wood top in future.
