The desk itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s beautiful from the front and the back so it can definitely be used in the middle of a room or forward facing. The color is gorgeous. It is a light natural oak. However, it’s insanely huge. I didn’t measure it prior to buying it and I’m now regretting it. I wanted it to work so bad in my home office but unfortunately it’s too big. It’s actually bigger than my dining room table. The soft close drawer and cabinet are nice. But the top is three separate pieces put together, and I dislike that look. It’s also not super sturdy on top. When I rest my arms or elbows on it, you can feel it rocking a little so I wonder overtime how long it would last. There was something wrong with one of my motors, so the right side of my desk does not go up on its own and therefore will not stay up so I can’t use it as a standing desk. I sent mine back for several reasons the size, the broken motor, and the way the front tipped forward. I feared my child would eventually pull it down.

So difficult to put together but really beautiful desk just wish the top was one solid piece because the breaks make it look bad.
