The desk is great. It is good looking, was reasonbly easy to assemble, a fair price, and gives my teen son room to work/play on his computer and still be able to spread out books and papers for homework. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have experienced, a corner was dented/split during shipping and I didn't notice until the desk was fully assembled. I contacted wayfair and they offered to replace the desk or the desk top. If it was a major dent, I would have taken them up on it. But it would have required me to either dispose of the dented desktop myself or possibly repackage and return the whole desk. Both options seemed wasteful, since my son doesn't really care. But it also doesn't feel great to pay full price for a piece of furniture and have it dented on the most prominent corner. We're living with it, but I'd feel better if they had an option to have refunded us some small portion of the cost, even if that was in wayfair credit. Also since this problem is mentioned in other reviews, it may be worth revisiting packaging.
