Love this! Was using it between two chairs in the living room and it worked great - but then i switched to using it as a coffee station! Also great!

Was working this morning and this desk caved in. Do not buy

This is a heavy desk. It's very pretty - more than the picture shows. I love the roominess under it for my legs (the whole width - no drawers to cramp the area) the glass is what makes it so heavy. There is a tiny bit of wiggle when I first begin writing but then - I'm not sure why- it stops. I absolutely love the lower glass shelf area. I can see everything I need and I can keep better organized that way. I loooove this desk. I get to admire my rug underneath, too. I will say, I am 5'3" and I need a chair that seat level is about 19". I also bought the big plant stand in the background:) !

I like the setup of this desk, with the two different levels. It was a bit tricky to assemble, but not terrible. However, part of it was scratched, which was disappointing. And of course the scratching was on the top level of the desk where it's noticeable. I don't expect perfect craftsmanship on an item at this price point, but maybe just wrap it a little better so it doesn't scratch itself during shipping?
