It’s a solid desk for the money paid. I hate that the drawers don’t pull out completely, and that is a complete design flaw! I purchased it because it was black and fit in my space perfectly because of a heat register.

Assembly is definitely required. Nothing is put together. Not even the drawers (no hardware on them either). Finally when it is put together it does look nice. The file drawers do not pull out the entire length of the drawers so about half of the back length can’t be used easily for files.

Great desk!! ONCE IT’S PUT TOGETHER!! Solid 4.5 hours at least (by myself) and I am very good at this sort of assembly so that’s a true time. I do love how it looks really good from the outside or inside (back or front). Also, the drawers are a huge plus! Haven’t inserted all of them because they do make a popping noise and my daughter is sleeping in the next room. Overall, love it!

Perfect size for our space. Instructions very easy to follow. Just got together last week but was worth the money so far.
