This desk looks almost identical to another desk I found on Wayfair. The other desk had a lot of positive reviews, while this one had zero reviews at the time I ordered it. I ultimately chose this one because of its much higher weight capacity. If you compare the two desks carefully, this one has additional support directly underneath the tabletop, while the other does not. This desk has a weight capacity of 350 lbs, compared with only 150 lbs for the other one. At 61 inches long, this is a fairly large desk, so I think the extra support is important and should help prevent the tabletop from sagging over time. The downside is that the support underneath prevents the chair from sliding all the way under the desk. The desk is made of MDF, which is not surprising at this price point. Assembly was straightforward, and all the predrilled holes lined up where they were supposed to. The color is a little deeper and richer than it appears in the stock photos, and the desk looks beautiful once assembled. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the hardware feels lightweight and somewhat flimsy. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the desk, especially considering the price, appearance, and 350-lb weight capacity.
