1 star for directions, there are no written instructions, just terrible photos to go off of. 5 stars for the beauty of the desk. However, the drawers don’t completely line up but they do openclose properly. 1 star for the assembly time, this desk took me at least 8-10 hours to assemble. It was very lengthy, complicated, and required ample time to study each photo of the instructions. It would’ve gone a lot faster if there were instructions I could’ve read. The images were not always straight forward and the mechanical sliding part for the drawers and keyboard drawer is very complicated. You have to disassemble the slider and then install each piece separately. The photos do not explain this. The photos also do not clearly depict which direction the sliders go on the desk. I had to unscrew and change the direction of the sliders, this is how unclear the instructions are. I almost gave up on this desk. And it wasn’t even eligible for return, 2 days after delivery If you aren’t a handyman, I highly recommend hiring a professional to install this or just buy an assembled desk. I only bought this because it had a keyboard drawer and they are hard to come by now! It was a huge waste of my time and caused me a huge headache. Wasted at least 8-10 hours of my time over 3 days.

Terrible instructions. Multiple missing pieces. Several holes almost lined up but didn’t. Had to drill more holes which was fine. But the frustrating part is having the desk half built and having more than 3 missing pieces. How does this happen Also, the instructions contradict each other when matched with the I NBC entire list. The inventory list only gives you one part of sliders but the instructions ask you to install it on multiple pieces of the desk. Not sure how they did not see this Still waiting to hear back. I’ve built multiple complicated drawers and dressers. But I’ve never run into this many problems before. The parts look like they are good quality but I won’t ever buy another project like this again. Honestly terrible experience. And the product say it isn’t eligible for return or replacement even though it was delivered only 2 days ago I spent 495 on this desk… not like I’m getting it for some discount. And to deal with the headache of missing pieces have been a nightmare.

Looks great, I put it together by myself, although it probably took 4 hours. Could have used slightly better instructions on the glides (you take them apart and install each piece individually) and on the back wall insert (I installed backwards and only realized it when I was done that the finished side was on the inside). I am happy with it, the 4 stars is because there really isn't room for the mouse next to the keyboard tray - it fits, but if you're active with your mouse, it's uncomfortable, so I end up moving the mouse to the desk. Plus the ledge on the keyboard tray is uncomfortable because it cuts into your wrist. Otherwise, I'm happy with the desk. I have it set up with 2 large screens and a laptop.

Pros: Good look, file cabinet Cons: Holes do not line up in file drawer, high cost for the materials (the finish has zero texture so it looks like paper) and how hard it was to put together, no cord management/hole in the desk. I really like the look of this desk and that there is a file drawer. It was a beast to put together and as other people mentioned, the holes on the file draw truly do not line up so I had to do a little trial and error and drill more holes than what I wanted. Also the "wood" chipped if I wasn't very careful when I was drilling the lead holes. The top of the desk came in dinged as well. The finish has zero texture and is flat so it's really obvious it's laminate which is disappointing considering the cost. So I had to re-order one along with the side of the file drawer. It was frustrating that I had to take the file drawer out and replace the sides in order to get the drawer to close flush. Lastly, I wish the desktop had a hole for cord management.
