Bureau Samul

The 60" Samuel Writing Desk from Red Barrel Studio is the best product I have ever assembled! I am almost 60 years old, and have assembled a lot of bookshelves, beds, sofas, end tables, and desks over the years. This is a solid desk, sturdy, beautiful, and well- constructed. It took me, literally, 10 minutes to put together--8 screws, 16 washers, and a wrench included! This desk is going to last a long time. Highly recommended!

Very nice solid piece- easy to assemble

A pretty addition to my guest bedroom. It has a natural beachy feel to the wood, which complements the nightstands in the room. Taking off one star only because the wood in one of the legs has a very pronounced graining to it and looks a bit like a zebra. A bit distracting to the eye, but the sturdiness and functionality of the desk are terrific.

I’m rating the desk 5 stars because it looks like the photo, is exactly what we needed, and after resolving initial issues we like the desk we ultimately received. The first top was quite damaged at the corner, as shown in the photo. Customer service sent a new top, which arrived promptly. Since others have had this same issue it’s worth evaluating packaging for the desk. This is a solid desk with a nice sized keyboard folding drawer and two additional drawers for small items.

Looks exactly like the pictures. I love it in our office space.
