Great desk, I love that I can fold it up for storage

Honestly, it's closer to 4.5 stars. I was really worried after reading some reviews that said the table arrived with dented legs and destroyed corners on the tabletop, but mine arrived in great condition! I suspect they improved the packaging method, because mine had styrofoam ALL around it, plus plastic corner protectors on the tabletop, and some of those ultra-hard cardboard edge protectors. Really well packed! Also, the carrier appears to have NOT thrown it around or run a forklift through it, so that helps... Anyway, it came intact AND completely assembled, which was in question because some reviewers said they had to attach the legs, while others said they just had to unfold the legs. So that made me happy. Now, I feel that the price is a little high for what you get. The table is not rock-solid; I think that has more to do with the fact that it folds, rather than any real manufacturing shortcuts. Touche - it isn't as though it's like a rocking horse, not at all. It will serve my purpose nicely, as a general place to eat, write, draw, place things as I take them out of my mini-fridge, etc. Rental room, you know... I DO feel that it might be priced $20-ish over what it should be, but I am happy nonetheless. I got the teak tabletop, and it looks pretty much like the pics on the page. Very neat and pretty. It also came with 2 extra adjustable feet, I guess in case there is a problem of any sort. Also, I remember reading a review complaining that the spring-loaded legs refused to open up completely and stay open, but I had no trouble in that regard. I do wish there was a locking bracket that I could slide into place so there are no surprises, but it probably isn't necessary. I guess if your knee hit the spring-loaded bracket the right way there could be an issue, but I can't say just yet. Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase, but will update if any problems arise...!
