This is an absolute piece of garbage. We bought this for a rental property. I’m a professional contractor and I had difficulty with the assembly. Several pieces of hardware broke hardware broke just tightening them. We are looking for a full refund. Don’t buy this.

It is fine. I got the mahgoney. The color online looked lighter but it is truer to mahogany in person. I almost didnt buy because of the complaints about assembly and quality. I had no problems. If you are experienced with assembling furniture you know what to expect. Quality is what you expect for self assembly furniture

Like many other reviewers have written, the wood is good quality and the desk feels very solidly built and looks beautiful, but the assembly process is very difficult because the pre-drilled holes do not line up, which means the manufacturing process was not very precise. One of the cam nuts actually snapped and there were no extra hardware included as with almost all other furniture of this type. Fortunately I had an extra cam nut from another piece that I was able to use. If the manufacturing process improved, this would have been a perfect piece.

If I had it to do over I would get a larger desk, and the building was a little tough (drawers I couldn’t get quite right) but look at it, it’s GORGEOUS

Very good quality
