Solid set of chairs. They’re wider than a lot of patio dining chairs, so they actually feel comfortable to sit in. The slat seat and arms work well, and the black wood-grain HDPE looks good in person. This material should last for years outside with almost no upkeep. Assembly is pretty straightforward. The notched boards don’t drop in super tight at first, but they pull together once you get the screws in. Do yourself a favor and use an impact driver with a hex bit. If you only use the included Allen wrench, you’ll be turning it for a long time. Two random bags of screws that we have no idea what they go to. The one thing that keeps this from 5 stars is the hardware. A lot of the silver screw heads and nuts sit proud on the surface instead of being recessed or color-matched. On black (and really any color) it looks cheaper than the rest of the chair. Functionally they’re fine they just stand out. For the regular Wayfair price, these are about average.
