This sealant was perfect for the brick I had installed in my laundry room! It went on very easily. Now when I spill on my floor, the liquid just beads up like a freshly-waxed car. I also appreciate that it didn't change the finish of the matte brick.

We purchased this product as a test prior to purchasing a larger quantity. It worked as described and really well and we I’ll purchase more as needed. Great to see a product work as well as described!

Sealed a stamped concrete patio. Charcoal form release powder on regular grey concrete and let the powder sit a week before I scrubbed it off. Really nice looking dark concrete. Looks like river bottom slate. Sealed 2 coats with SX5000 after another week of cure and dry. Clear matte did not change the color and water beads and rolls off. I have free range chickens that visit and deposit from time to time & doesn't stain + fairly easy to remove comparatively to unsealed. I'm skeptical about 7 years, but its starting out really impressive. I really like that it is penetrating and not a coating as coatings on walking surface just take abuse and don't seem to last. I chased any minor puddling I got during application with a blower & seemed to work fine. May light acid etch and do my garage floor next, for ease of sweeping and not as prone to stains. I did buy the FA pump spray applicator which worked so much better than my little garden plastic pump sprayers but one of those cheapos I think would work just fine for budget minded. It dries quickly but not too quickly.

My concrete driveway and patio are 20 years old. I had both power washed/scrubbed and let them dry for a few days before applying SX5000 WD with a 14" wide, 1/2" nap roller. I poured the product from the 5 gallon bucket into a plastic watering can and then poured some onto the concrete, then began rolling it on. This process worked very well for me, and the finished driveway and patio now look completely natural and great; especially for being 20 years old ! I cannot speak as to the durability yet, but am hopeful that the job will last at least 5 years.

Got an estimate to clean and seal our paver driveway. The contractor warned me against DIY, said it is very expensive to hire him to clean up after a job gone wrong and that it took expertise only a pro has to do it right. So I did my research into products and techniques and decided that I could DIY. I chose Foundation Armor SX5000WB based on product reviews, comparisons with other products and the crystal clear instructions for surface preparation and application. Another benefit of DIY is the attention to detail not offered by the contractor. I leveled a few errant pavers and used a concrete crack filler in the joint between the pavers and the sidewalk and garage apron to prevent accumulation of crud. So, with the purchase of a pressure washer, sprayer, the sand and sealer the cost was less than 1/3 of the contractor price and I get to keep the pressure washer for general maintenance chores. The product application was easier than I expected and the result was fabulous. Three of my neighbors went with the contractor but admitted they see no difference between my DIY and the pro. I would definitely go this route again.
