I love this bench! The assemble was easy and I can say this with full confidence because it was the first thing I've ever assembled by myself! The one thing I would advice though is when you go to put the hinges on for the lid I would recommend using an electric drill instead of doing the screws by hand, the holes are difficult to determine exactly location because they are through the cloth and hard to hand turn. Fully finished this is a beautiful piece of furniture in my foyer entrance and very sturdy, I use it daily to sit and put my shoes on and inside I keep the dog leashes and outdoor wear for winter, hats, mittens, etc. Very happy with this purchase!
