It’s more narrow than I thought it would be, but great price for the piece, adds interest to the corner of our living room and the lighting makes it that much cooler. Holds more books than I thought it would!

The bookcase was fairly easy to put together, though it probably would have gone faster if my dog Unni had not been trying to “help” during assembly. It ended up being a little smaller than I originally expected, but that was on me for not checking the dimensions closely enough before ordering. In the end, it worked out well as a compact bookshelf for the bedroom. One of my favorite features is the built in lighting. The brightness is adjustable, which makes it great for softer nighttime lighting. I personally don’t use the touch slider controls very often because it also comes with a remote, which is honestly really convenient since I can adjust the lights without getting out of bed. Overall, it’s a nice looking shelf with a modern feel and works well for smaller spaces. That said, it made me realize I’ll probably still need to find a larger bookshelf for my living room.

Ordered 2 shelves, one was OK but once assembled one of the lighted shelves would not work. The other was damaged in shipment, one corner of almost every board was damaged. Wayfair refunded my purchase so happy with their customer service, had to take the shelves back apart & repackage to ship back. The shelves looked very nice when assembled other than the issues mentioned, very disappointed we didn't get to use them. I would order from Wayfair again but not these shelves.

Overall happy with the construction of the piece. Deducted a star for a few reasons 1) the screws on the wood are very noticeable, so it would have been nice to have a recessed hole with a plug to hide them better. 2) the cable management is annoying to truly hide, so hopefully wherever youre putting it is against a wall so you cant see the mess of cables behind it. 3) whoever decided to use two different styles of bolt (one with a Phillips head and the other with an allen wrench head) is a MONSTER as it makes it so you have to constantly alternate between two screwdriver head types during assembly (I use an electric screwdriver for furniture assembly because I do it frequently and believe that using the invluded tools is for people with more time and patience than me).

Looks Marvelous, different. Offers soft bright dim control light per shelve. Which makes it outstanding.surely recommended.
