I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It has a beautiful grain and it’s very solid. Also easy to put together. It took just minutes!

When I saw the top arriving in two halves, I was immediately concerned. Fortunately, they fit together securely. The photo is meant to show not only the split, but also the surface, which has a lot of beautiful grain, but is also quite rough. I will add a glass surface. I love the heavy, solid legs. There were two very minor defects. One was a split that was solidified with a screw during the normal assembly process. The other is at a corner and is virtually invisible. In general it is well made and easy to assemble. The only surprise was how rustic the surface is.

Love love love this desk! It was super easy to assemble. The top of the desk has a roughness to it but I like how rustic it looks and feels. It’s a nice dark color and went nicely with the lighter furniture I had.
