First, several pieces arrived damaged. The instructions lacked details, that would have made it easier to assemble. I wasnt able to put it completely together because of the damaged pieces. although I did get some of it together by myself. The color in the pic, shows a distressed white. however some pieces are a bright white, while others are more of a cream. The pieces are laminated and parts of that were damaged upon arrival. The side panels are 2 pieces which are just bolted together but have a gap. Pieces of the wood that hold the wood slats are cracked down the middle. So the bed is in pieces. I was offered a replacement bed, but would have preferred to just have the pieces. I will get pieces and a metal platform bed frame to put inside to try and complete the bed at some point .

This bed frame was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. Assembly was a challenge due to lack of detail in the instructions. Including a few basic words, assembly would have made it go much smoother. The frame is sturdy and heavy due to the engineered materials. Marketing photos made the headboard appear to be a single, solid piece but it is not and there is a very noticeable joint seam across the middle of the headboard. There is no way to make the seam less visible and it is totally distracting for me. There are some screw holes which are visible under the top rail of the headboard which shouldn’t be visible after assembly (see photos). The side rails also have a noticeable joint seam, but bedding will hide the seam. Although the marketing photos show a solid white finish, the product description indicates it has a distressed finish and make no mistake, it does have a distressed finishappearance. Overall it is a decent bed frame but I am very disappointed by the noticeable headboard seam. So if this sort of thing bothers you too, this is not the frame for you.

It’s great looking bed. No doubt. But the assembly was overwhelming. 200 plus screws. It really was a lot. The quality of the materials were good and all the screws have inserts for durability. It feels strong and solid. The price point is great for a king bed and aesthetically worth it. I also suggest having some help. I like a tall bed, double mattress.
