i did think the shelves would be a bit deeper than they are. Also, the bed is really low. although a box spring isn't required, I am considering getting one to give it a bit more height. Also, the drawers aren't on a rack, just roll on the floor. It's useful but just a tad bit underwhelming. Lots of pieces to put together, but it came out well. Overall I think it works though!
