This is a really nice and high-quality coffee table! The black color looks amazing and matches several of my other pieces of furniture. The bottom base is made of a nice aluminum piece too. It was a little challenging to install the raising mechanism, but is also really high-quality and can lock in place. Overall, I would highly recommend this, the only issue I had was one piece (the small table that pops out), had some scratches on it which was like that when I pulled it out of the box. 

Great for opening up to top level to dine off of. But the corners of the top or so sharp it literally slices your leg open if you get close to it.

This table is AMAZING!!!! It’s very sturdy when you have both sides flipped out to make it a large table. It wasn’t that hard to build, just make sure you’re lining up the legs right. For the price you cannot beat it. It’s so much better than I thought it would be! Cannot wait to play board games on it.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TABLE. I use it to eat meals, then use the full size table top for board game nights and puzzles. It’s sturdy and sleek looking. Made of actual wood and not particle board like many other furniture pieces now-a-days. I use PLEDGE oil spray for it and it keeps the wood looking nice. No clue if the gears will need replacing over constant daily use for the hinges, for the lift top portion, But so far so good with daily use. Keep in mind that you do need some force to open the table top, it’s all counterweight leverage. So I maybe wouldn’t recommend for an elderly person or anyone with mobility issues. It is easy to close however. FYI.

For a small space this coffee table is perfect! We use it as a coffee table with storage for all things and a dining table (a little low for chairs, but works!) for meals. Sturdier than I expected and simple to put together - came with everything needed to assemble.

Top is heavy and clunky to operate, so do not expect to use this for everyday storage. This is not solid wood but some sort of pressed chipboard covered with laminate that was already chipped on arrival. Since it is a laminate, the lighter color edges can be seen. Good enough for a starter coffee table, occasional game table but nothing that I would rave about or keep long term. I purchased it for the smaller footprint, storage (that I thought would be more user friendly) and expandable top for occasional extra meal seating.

First let me say I love this table. What I didn't like was putting it together. First there was an important small part missing so I had to Macgyver it because last time there was a part missing on an item I bought I had to wait almost 2 weeks to be told no replacement available. I have spent $2500 on new furniture only to have many problems. One item shipped the wrong order completely. Another missing a part. Another with flaws but I dealt with all because I am so excited for my new house remodel. As for this coffee table, it is worth it once together, it's gorgeous! You will need some logic because instructions are awful. Just pictures with no explanations. Oh and you should know, it is very difficult use the lift. Hydraulics work great when closing but you need muscle to open it. Extremely sturdy! Update... be sure to put protective pieces on the corners... have cut our legs multiple times so the protectors took care of that problem but doesn't look the greatest.
