Table basse

As this table top is very heavy I appreciated to delivery guys unboxing it and assembling it. However, I would let them know that reading the instructions for this table is important as the position of the legs need to match the corresponding number on the base. I assembled the small version myself and could not figure out why this one seemed unstable until I looked at the numbers. The middle of these legs is not perfectly centered so placing them at the indicated location is important. I ended up having to flip it over and correct the issue myself.

Made from several pieces of alabaster travertine expertly seamed together, this table is sturdy and attractive in our living room. The base is lacking in fit and finish, and was a challenge to assemble, as welded joints required bending by hand into their correct position. Surface Sealed with a polyurethane finish. All in all, we’re very satisfied.

I could not be happier with my Capri coffee table. It is a beautiful, solid piece that is easy to put together.
