Table basse gigogne Frame 3

I bought these from Open Box, so I had to expect some defects. That being said, the packaging for this item COULD prevent damage, but it adds to the chances of it. If not for the damage, I’d have given these 4 stars. But, as soon as I picked up this box from the porch, I could hear the sounds of clanking and scraping metal....All tops had damages...I will try to cover the damages but they are like others in reviews, corners chunked off etc. but they are small. For the legs, there were DEEP scrapes all over from packaging and screws flying about in transport. I had gold paint pen and attempted to fix some of those. Overall, for $53 and (3) tables it’s still tough to complain too much. I agree, the silver screws to the gold finish doesn’t add to a luxury “vibe”. The edges don’t show marbling on the surface so it’s obvious that they are not truly marble with white edges. That being said, one thing I did like is that you can opt to remove the top, and place these tables on their side using them horizontally. This allows the fractal gold front to be at the top. Note, this does make for holes in the legs but it really looks kinda cool to use the tables that way, or to at least have the option for (2) looks. To that end, I may use them on my patio or in the office for a printer shelf etc. There are slight differences in the legs this way, but that doesn’t bother me. I appreciate furniture that is adaptable and also breaks down for compact storage if not being used and these do, so they make great plant stands and the like as well...I will try to use in a way where the damages aren’t as visible.

The look is nice (4 stars) but the quality is poor (2 stars). One of the tops arrived damaged (nicks on edge) which based on the quality of the top I anticipate this happening easily with normal wear and tear. Also, large bolts are needed to hold table together but they are silver. Personal opinion, they kind of stand out so it would have been nice if they were gold to help them blend in with the table. Then the screw holds to hold table top on we’re crooked so the screw had to go in slightly sideways. I would have given this a 2 due to quality but settled on a 3 because I appreciate the artistic design.

Good quality tables and elegant looking.

This nesting table set is unique and adds another texture to our transitional denguest room. They were very easy to assemble. The tops appear to be marble but they are a light weight resin that doesn’t look cheap.

Nice table, a bit heavier than I thought, and also had some little cracks here and there
