The bar stool is very striking, well made; a quality piece. While it is well made it is not a heavy, difficult to move chair. The cherry wood has a lovely grain and goes well with my cherry kitchen. The padded seat is comfortable, good size and the material is soft and nice to the touch. The material on the seat looks as though it would clean easily. I would recommend this product.
