I am very pleased with the Hitchin 47" Wide 1 Drawer Reversible Orientation Modern Farmhouse Writing Desk with Cabinet. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and looks even better in person than it does in the photos. The modern farmhouse style blends perfectly with my home office, and it gives my office space a clean, organized, and stylish appearance. Assembly took me about two and a half hours from start to finish. The instructions were easy enough to follow, although there are quite a few pieces, so I would recommend taking your time and organizing the hardware before you begin. But the pieces were labeled which was a big plus. It definitely isn't a quick assembly for one person, but the effort is worth it once everything is put together. One of my favorite features is how sturdy the desk feels. Once assembled, there is no wobbling or shaking, and it feels like a quality piece of furniture that will last for years. The cabinet provides convenient storage for office supplies, while the drawer is perfect for keeping smaller items neatly tucked away. I also appreciate the reversible design, which allows you to choose which side you want the cabinet that best fits your room layout. The desktop offers plenty of workspace for a laptop, monitor, notebooks, and other essentials without feeling cramped. It has enough room to comfortably work, study, or even tackle craft projects. I am extremely happy with this purchase. While assembly requires some patience and a couple of hours of your time, the end result is a beautiful, sturdy, and functional desk that looks much more expensive than its price. I would highly recommend this cute desk. Perfect for my teenage daughter. This took me almost exactly 2 hours to put together alone, but I found the instructions to be simple enough. One thing I would say is, without a power drill, this would have taken me double the amount of time. Just something to keep in mind! Another cool feature is that you can assemble the pedestal on either the right or left side, and there are directions for both. I also enjoyed the fact that the tracks for the drawer were already installed, as well as the hinges on the door. Overall, would recommend.

I have mixed opinions about this desk. The good things are very easy to understand directions and organized parts were a plus. I’m not a fan of the brown lines on the wood and I know they are trying to make it look more farmhouse but I think it would have been nicer with just the base being cream.

Just want to let you know that you'll need several hours to put this together. All of the pieces do not match up properly even with making necessary adjustments. It's really too bad because it is a very nice looking piece of furniture.

Easy to build, best instructions ever. Literally had ever steps hardware together and labeled! Everyone should do this! Made a world of difference when assembling. Only thing that was off was there’s a few holes not sure if there’s stickers that go over them or if my husband forgot something Overall a very nice desk! Perfect size, even putting two monitors on it.
