Powderpost Beatles and horrible machining! The machining, hole alignment on the product was horrible. It was only able to be assembled because the professional installer drilled his own holes and had extra long wood screws (I would not have been able to DIY), but ultimately was okay when he finished. Two months later I started finding little piles of very fine sawdust. Upon closer inspection, I found tiny holes with each pile of dust (see pic), Powerpost Beatles! Not worth the trouble if free, much less the price paid!

I really love this hall tree, but can’t give 5 stars only due to the assembly. As others mention, there are mistakes on the predrilled holes and alignment. We improvised, and it looks and functions great.

This product is beautiful but it took me 5 hours to put it together because several of the pre-drilled holes did not match up, not to mention it was shipped incorrectly the first time, the wrong replacement was sent and further correspondence was needed to get the right shipment. This took my wife an hour on the phone. All together this project required WAY TOO MUCH TIME. I am VERY hand and if I was not then this product would’ve been sent back. I fabricated what was necessary to put the Hall Tree together and it looks great, but the average person would not have been able to complete this build. Very disappointed.

***DO NOT BUY*** I am not in the business of negative reviews much, but this one is necessary. We ordered one of these a few weeks ago... and neither the bench nor the upper part could be assembled. The machining was off on all pieces. Nothing could align properly. We reached out to customer service to request a replacement. After a week of emails, we only received the bench (despite explaining multiple times, and providing pictures proving our claim that the the machining was wrong on the upper part as well). After yet another call at the end of last week, we received the upper part today. ... It turns out to be worse than the first set we received. For starter, the machining is just as bad (the furniture cannot be solidly assembled and would require additional drilling to be used safely). Second, after a taking a closer look, it does not look like solid wood as advertised but compressed MDF. Third, the discrepancy in color between the bench and the back piece is just too much. So we ended up spending yet another hour disassembling whatever we were able to poorly and wobblily put together and repackaging two sets of two boxes. This could be one of the worst piece of furniture we ever bought for the price (short of the very cheap ones where you expect to get what you pay for). I sincerely hope Wayfair connects with the manufacturer to figure out their production and QC issues.

Wow! What a chore it was to put this together. The parts did not line up and as a result we had to make our own modifications. Kudos to customer service for trying to make it right!
