Easy to put together, though you do need a second person to lock the back on. Very firm couch, which we love (for back support). My only concern the pleather scratches very easily. Putting the pieces together, you have to be careful. We purchased a cover to keep the cats from tearing it apart, but will pull off when we have company over. Otherwise, love the look of it!
