Grand lit standard Giovoni

Not very sturdy and looks a bit cheap

My grandson loves the bed I got him. Looks great in his room. Great purchase great price

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Although, I do wish it had 4 boards for mattress support instead of the three because when I sit on the end of my bed the mattress dips in. I will probably add a board myself and it will be perfect.

I picked up this "Downey Queen Standard Bed" because I needed something that wasn't bulky and overly ornate, something simple but not boring. The packaging was excellent, I knew there would be NO issue with damage, its good to be right. Putting the bed together couldn't get easier - aside from having someone else putting it together - but seriously ... it was very easy. I did notice something that did bother me, some of the laminate was lifted in the corner, or where the laminate is cut - but it's not so noticeable. I'm really thrilled with the bed though. If it weren't for the imperfections in the lamination, I would have given it a higher score.

When the bed was first taken out of the box there were a couple of small dents on the headboard. Underneath the footboard the vinyl was peeling and sticking out from under the bed. The assembly of the bed was easy and did not take long to complete. Overall I am super satisfied it looks great!
