Solid and heavy. One drawer does not want to stay closed so not sure how to fix that!

This dresser is well built and sturdy. The quality is not only seen, but felt! The drawers glide open easily and the wood finish is beautiful. I’m so happy with my purchase! This was a great addition to my master bedroom.

Color is great. No damage to the wood. I like that the edges of the table top are rounded. I also like that the back is finished in the same color wood. It’s secured with a couple of silver screws. The drawers are secured with dovetail joinery. The inside of the drawers are unfinished, so are coarse to the touch. Also coarse to the touch are the back of the handles. The drawers are not soft-close, however, they glide out smoothly and have a slight resistance when closing, which does dampen the slamming affect a little bit. The front legs look skinny, but are very solid and durable. The two back legs are a bit thicker in size. The two legs that it was sitting on during shipping have Styrofoam practically pressed into the wood that’s very difficult to remove. We’re still working on removing it. There’s plenty of clearance under the dresser which makes clean up easier. The delivery went smoothly, and communication was excellent throughout. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. About the only things that could really be improved on would be to finish the inside of the drawers and round off the door hardware in the back so it’s a bit smoother

The outside is beautiful. But the inside is mediocre (at best) quality. Size This is a large piece of furniture, which I knew and wanted. But I wish the drawer boxes could be deeper, considering the overall size of the dresser. The large drawers are about 5.5” high and the small ones are 3.5”. Wood Quality The outer solid wood is gorgeous and there’s lots of variation in tone. BUT this dresser is NOT completely solid wood. The drawer boxes are plywood. Thankfully another review mentioned this, so I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, the plywood isn’t fully clear cabinet grade (there are holes filled with wood filler or not filled at all). And it’s not sanded completely smooth, so fabric catches on it. They also didn’t use edge banding (or another method) to hide the stripe-y plies. So I will have to find ways to fix the texture and appearance. Functionality Most of the slides are great, but it’s difficult to access nearly 6 inches of space at the back of the drawers. Why Because they don’t use full extension slides. Also, some don’t slide smoothly. I think it’s because they use knobs instead of pulls, so the uneven force of pulling on one knob makes it hitch. I’ll have to replace the slides and the knobs. This dresser is superficially beautiful, but I’m disappointed that I’ll have to invest more time and money to fix things that shouldn’t have been a problem for the amount we pay. Hopefully, they can improve the quality for others in the future.
