C’est un beau meuble

My dresser came to my door with no damage. My only gripe is the weight. It was heavy and in 2 boxes. I am glad it was in 2 boxes. More boxes would make it easier to get in the house. I am very happy with the finish and the quality of the material. It will be a very nice dresser when assembled. I recommend paying for assembly. I am a senior so some of the parts are heavy to lift. The instructions are easy to follow and the pieces go together cleanly. Love Wayfair products.

Lots of pieces to put together. Looks nice. We spent hours putting this together. Next time I will buy something with less pieces.

If I could review just the appearance and ease of assembly for this dresser, I give it 5 stars. It is very pretty and heavy. HOWEVER, it has such a bad odor that will not go away, that we are likely putting our guests this weekend up in a hotel as the guest room can not be slept in with odor. It has made my husband ill to the point that he went to the doctor today - 48 hours after we assembled it - because he has a very sore throat and is very congested. From what I have read, this is due to off-gassing formaldehyde from the cheap adhesive used in this item. He has been exposed for the 48 hours as the guest room is next to his office. If you decide to purchase this item, please unpack it outside somewhere and let it air out before bringing it into your home. We have been doing all of the on-line recommendations to eliminate the smell, but as of yet, nothing is working. Disappointing.
